Edge Church is a place where people can connect, belong and grow; where relationships are forged and developed; a place where lives are changed for eternity. If it is your first time at an Edge Church service, you may have some questions. Here’s a quick look at what you can expect.
 

What happens at a service?

It is our desire for you to be able to connect with God through contemporary, sincere worship and be inspired and motivated to deal with real life issues through practical, biblical messages. Sunday services normally last for about 75 minutes. On some occasions the meeting may go for a little longer, but we are very aware of time constraints and do respect everyone’s time.

 
Where and when are church services held?

Edge Church consists of two congregations (Melkbos and Edgemead) and we encourage you to visit whichever site is more convenient for you. Click here for directions.

 
What time do services start?

Service times are as follows:

Melkbos:          09h30

Edgemead:       08h30, 10h30 and 18h00

 
What should I wear?

Because we’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than what you wear, feel free to dress casually and you’ll fit right in but do keep in mind that our facilities are air-conditioned and are set on a constant temperature.

 
What about my children?

We’re big on family, so there are lots of Sunday morning activities for children from one year old to Grade 7.  We know that, as a parent, you need to be sure that your children are in a safe learning environment. This is why we ask you to register your children in the main foyer before the service starts. Parents with babies can make use of our comfortable parents’ room. This facility is available in the morning and evening services.

Visit the Info Desk

Visit the Info Desk in the main foyer if you have any further queries, would like to view resources on sale or wish to purchase a copy of Sunday’s sermon. The Info Desk is open before and after services.
