When you give, your gifts affect thousands of people. The under-resourced are cared for, the lonely are connected, kids' lives are changed and people discover more of Christ each day. The mission and vision of Edge Church could not be carried out without the faithful giving of partners and friends. Edge Church practices the highest standards of stewardship and accounts for every rand through its financial team.

How to give?

Whether you'd like to give a single gift or give regularly, there are number of ways to give:

Electronic transfer through your bank account- You can choose to set up Edge Church as a one-time or recurring recipient through internet banking. See your bank's website for details.

Through your credit card or debit card- Our information desk at Edgemead has a credit and debit card machine. Alternatively, use our giving envelopes to provide authority for a credit or debit card charge.

In cash or via cheque made out to “Edge Church” through our offerings: You can simply place your offering into the giving envelope and place in the offering receptacle as it is passed around during the service.

Benefits of Electronic Giving

There are several benefits to electronic giving for both you and the church.

First fruits – In Proverbs 3:9 we are taught to honor the Lord with the “first fruits” of our labor. By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify you can ensure that your first fruits are given back to God.

Simplicity – You will not need to remember if you gave this month or send in your offering cheques when you are out of town.

Security – Internet giving is more secure than giving with a cheque in that an electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen.

No distractions – Instead of needing to worry about writing your contribution during the service, you can be fully engaged with the worship service, knowing that you have already given your offering.

Helping Edge – It is more cost effective for the church to process electronic contributions. In addition, it also simplifies the financial records the church needs to keep.
