The counselling service is for anyone who feels the need for a caring, confidential listener to help towards constructive change in any aspect of life. It’s a place to explore and process past and present dilemmas within agreed boundaries, where we rely on Christ to provide the power for change.
Support groups are a safe and healthy environment for people who have begun their journey of recovery. These groups are well-suited to people handling loss and change like death, divorce, relationship breakdowns and retrenchments.
Counselling is offered at Edgemead and Melkbos and is available for anyone over the age of 14 desiring to work through painful issues and find healing. We also offer counselling for children under the age of 14, but parental permission is required.
Pre-marital counselling guidance is also offered for couples who want to be married at Edge Church.
If you would like more information about booking a counselling appointment or joining a support group, contact Ruth Aereboe at the church office (021 559 0325) or fill in the online form below.
